Hi,
Use another firewall than XP has, because you don't have control on the
firewall, you can't add outgoing rules etc.

On vista and Win 7 private Firewall free has worked well just installing
and leaving it at defaults.:
I would expect that it would be the same under XP. If not I would be happy
to try to assist.
