Hello. Louis and I spoke on the phone and I had him reclass the writing
area to a rich edit and it resolved the speech and Braille issue. I just
wanted to post this so others would know the solution.
Many thanks.

Louis,
I'm glad to see you here. Be sure to install and associate the Lotus Notes set
files. I believe they deal with some of this,
particularly the From and To fields. I have been using Lotus Notes for a long
time now but am on a later version now.
As I recall, though, there were some fixes in Notes between 6.5.2 and 6.5.4,
and your company might allow you to
upgrade to that version.
You may find that reclassing to a rich-edit will mess up your ability to read
notes because the read screen might be seen
as a rich-edit. I know this problem existed in some versions. It may also
cause browse mode to not work right when
reading.
Lotus Notes is a pain in some ways, but in others it is pretty good. I am not
convinced it is any worse than Microsoft
Outlook except that Outlook gets so much attention by everyone because of its
market share which is simply a fact of
life. There are a few of us here, though, who are Lotus Notes veterans who can
try to help.
Best regards,

Folks,
I am new to Window-Eyes. I have just loaded the latest release at work.
Most things work well. I am having trouble with my Lotus version 6.52. WE
use XP at work.
Most of Lotus works fine. The only problem that I am having is that when I
create a new memo (message), I can see (Braille display) and hear the to,
cc, and subject fields; however, when I enter text into the body of the
note, I can hear it, but I cannot see it on my Braille display which is a
Pac Mate 40.
I have tried reclassifying to body of the note to rich edit, and this makes
it visible; however, I then can no longer see the to, cc, and subject field
headings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
