Hi. Why, is it, that although I have the taskbar properties configured to hide inactive icons in Windows XP, that Window-Eyes finds my system tray icons despite the setting? Also, in Windows XP, why does no speech show up with the quick installation of Window-Eyes at the logon screen? The computer I use is a workstation taht I must log into. But it doesn't speak until after I've logged in. How do I get this working on an OS like XP? I quite forget how. I don't want to go skimming millions of manual pages, I'd rather just be told what needs changed. Presently, the checkboxes are set to launch Window-Eyes at the logon screen, and to launch for the current user after logon. And it is configured to do so using the above configuration. Thanks.
