hi, use dectalk on windows 7 with no problem what so ever.
the only thing you might try is make sure that your sound driver is up to
date.

Hello to all on the list,
I am working ona machine with WIndows XP on a network that I'm using
presently to type this message whle in a computer class.
I'm noticing that Detalk is pretty responsive under Windows XP, but
apears to lag more with Windows Seven/Vista.
Why would this be? Note: To all:
Try having the rate of DecTalk unmodified from rate 30, and start
typing pretty fast. See you all later.
