I beg to disagree here. No one was a bigger fan of eudora than I was. It
got me through when all I had was a 650 mhz laptop hacked with windows xp
and microsoft packages ran like garbo.
unfortunately, the fact that it's not being developped any more means that
it won't be on top of any security issues that arise. It may work, but it
won't be supported or guaranteed in the event of opperating system
upgrades. It probably won't have new plugins created for it any more to
keep up with changes in information technology. You won't be able to get
facebook or twitter plugins for example. There might be an rss plugin but
I've never heard of one. The list goes on.
It is unfortunate that they allowed such an incredible program to simply
stagnate, but it's not responsible to go out recomending that new users
jump on the eudora bandwagon either.
