Hello. if you follow the steps I gave exactly, it will work. The label
graphics won't work with Thunderbird so this is why I didn't mention it
in my directions.
many thanks.

OK.
Here is what I have found. If one goes to the last word in the heading
(in my case, "DATE") and then navigates to the right pixel at a time, no
graphics will be encountered; however, several times (at least 3) one
hears "Context Menu" followed shortly by "Menu Closed."
Now, if one navigates to the right by clip, one indeed hears "graphic."
Actually, there are 3 graphics. I couldn't tell what a left click did --
on any of the graphics.
As someone else reported, a right click produces the same move, reply,
delete, and so on message menu. So, it has nothing to do with ordering
headings.
For the fun of it, I told Window-Eyes to label automatically, all the
graphics. It took a good 5 minutes. While it was working, guess what? I
heard "Context Menu" followed by "Menu Closed" numerous times.
In the end, no graphics were labeled.
So, the mystery continues.
There must be some other setting one needs to order headings with the
referenced graphic.
