Hi Juan, this has been a problem since the release of the patch, somehow windoweyes is not triggering or auto starting changes on the fly, a little about what I've tried so far . plug in wireless headset, speech continues threw pc speakers, this didn't happen before the patch.I went into the windoweyes control panel manually switched the sound card selection, applied changes and saved them. unplugged headset I was left with no speech, plugged them back in manually switched sound card selection again and speech was back to pc speakers, I unplugged the headset. I plugged the headset back in, speech was still coming threw the pc speakers, I went to the windoweyes control panel, and notice the sound card did say Logitech , but it wasn't working I pressed applied and Walla it worked. I manually switched back to the pc speakers and with the headset plugged in turned off windoweyes, and turned it back on, this time speech was in the headset. I then unplugged the headset I had no speech, I again turned off windoweyes, and back on now speech was in the pc speakers. this has been reported by several users, but I don't remember seeing any feed back from the staff at gw micro.
so ----- Original Message ----- From: Juan Gonzalez To: GW-Micro Sent: January 26, 2010 8:24 PM Subject: New Eloquence Hi here is my point of view on the new eloquence. I like it because it has a faster response than SAPPY but I still like how the SAPPY voice sounds. The only thing that I have seen with the eloquence is when I either plug or unplug my headphones Window-Eyes stops talking. I lose speech completely. My computer runs at the normal speed and there is no freeze ups or errors. I have to do CTRL+backslash to get to the window-eyes window and press CTRL+F4 to close it and then reopen window-eyes to get it to work with speech. Now I do not know if this is related to the new patch because I started using it when the patch came out or it has been happening before it. I do not know if GW-Micro is looking into this yet or it is a new issue. Hopefully this can help them. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
