Sometimes, in Window-Eyes while using Internet Explorer web-based
email forms, or other such things, Window-Eyes frequently reports
"space," and sometimes repeats a given character twice ont he screen,
rahter than backspacing over it and saying the proper character as it
is being erased.
For instance,
once, I typed the word:
daughter.
backspaced over the r in GMail's web-based email system.
The letter read was,
"E."
I did it again, and
"E."
Another time, I erased a letter on my screen, however Window-Eyes said,
"Space."

Also: I've noticed sometimes in web forms that if you are not in the
Browse Mode, and do a control-shift-R to read text, Window-Eyes begins
skipping entire halfs of sentences, and even entire words on the
screen, despite every single press of the screen redrawing hotkey..
Is this something that can be fixed? Because the only current
alternitive thing to do in that particular case is to reactivate
browse mode.
Note that with the compitition, the backspacing problem, ore the
reading issue in web forms (including GMail) exist.
If any of you have script ideas or other such suggestions for forcing
Window-Eyes to speak correctly, 100 percent of the time with every
single control known under the Windows world, frankely honestly, that
would be the best solution you could give me. I don't yet have such
an answer.
But I am wondering just how far this can be tapped into?
If Window-Eyes interacted even with web form edit boxes, that would be cool.
Another web related question (maybe I need to look at the archives)
but did anyone answer me on the question regarding labelig forms with
user-defined names whie inside browse mode so that they read properly?
If that doesn't yet exist, I'd like to see something like that, but
please, if anything like that was going to be available, please do it
properly;and please, please don't rush it out like some other AT
companies whom I won't mention. :)
