So are you also able to reproduce this problem with dectalk, because
going through the steps he outlined I am unable to reproduce this
--------------------------------------------------problem. I type and the
dectalk keeps up with me just fine. speech gets interupted as I type because
I am a fast typist and it hardly makes scence to keep this setting active.
when I slow down my typing window-eyes speaks. elaquence on the other hand
doesn't interupt speech as I would exspect quite as fast as the dectalk. so
with elaquence active I here a little more speech then I do with dectalk
because it is not keeping up with me as well as the dectalk.

don't think it has to do with audio drivers because if it did, it would
affect all synths and not just dectalk. but it only affects dectalk and
not eloquence.

No, I'm not using the XP mode feature.
I'm talking about an entirely different machine over here running
Windows XP Professional.

Hi.
Why is it, that in Windows Seven (32-bit and 64, DecTalk Access Thirty
Two lags the faster you type v.s Windows XP?
Try typing with the default key echo and type as fast as possible,
etc.
That kind of thing.
You should notice DecTalk not stay up with the rush of characters, but
under XP 32-bit it does just fine.
Try taht sometime. Let me know what you think.
Talk to you all later.
