That's right.
So when navigating the form, normally you turn off browse mode by either
pressing enter on the edit or combo box; or pressing control-shift-a.
Then you tab from edit box to edit box from field to field.
If they do not speak, I have to turn on browse mode again and use the arrow
keys to go to the next edit box in the form to know what information I need
to write there.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Re: Edit Boxes On Forms Not Speaking
Hi,
I need clarification on 'Going into Browse Mode'.
You mean Browse off or Browse on.
During Browse On, we can navigate the page by using the arrow keys and
the tab key.
But when in Browse Off, we can only use the tab key.
Thanks and regards,
Silpa.

Hi,
I have noticed this lately that when filling out a form, not all the
edit
boxes are spoken.
I am experiencing this with both Browser Ie8 and Firefox 3.6.
I have to go back in to browse mode to have the edit boxes spoken.
The first one is okay, but some times the second one or third one in
the
form doesn't speak with out going back in to browse mode.
I have tried shift-tabbing to the previous edit box and then tabbing back
to
the one I need to put the information in, but no good.
I have to go in to browse mode to find out what it is.
Is there something I need to turn on in Window-Eyes 7.11?
Using Windows XP Pro SP3.
Thanks for any help in advance.
