The toggle is, windows logo key plus a. If you never want attribute changes on, go to the Window-Eyes control panel with control plus backslash and press alt-v for verbosity. A list of items will open up and you can tab through to find Attributes. You can turn it off completely. Make sure to do an alt-f and s and then s again to save your set files. The manual can help you if you go there and do an alt plus n and you can search the index for attributes. Hope this is of some help.
