well in your case something rather odd was going on. tested this out here on a
number of systems as is explained in the kb article on windows 7 32 a user can
install 7.0 and then update to 7.11 with no problems. if one does not have at
least 7.1 on windows 7 64 bit they will need to order a new cd as of right now
that version is 7.11. I am typing this message using windows 7 32 starter on
this system I installed 7.0 and then updated to 7.11. so I assure you in most
cases it works fine.

Jim,

I attempted this and could not get the upgrade to install. I did how ever get
7.11 to install thanks to a great friend of mine. Just my thoughts.

actually window-eyes 7.0 will work and install on windows 7 32. it should be
updated after the install to window-eyes 7.11. if you check you will find a
kb article that explains this in grain detail.

Hi, Do you have a cd with we 7.11. If so, just use that and you should be
good to go.

  Matthew

p.s, we 7 will not work with win 7.

    Greetings Listers,
I atempted to load WE 7.0 on my new Dell Inspiron 560 running Windows 7

64 bit OS. The voice prompt came up but when
I hit "enter" to continue after the intro. speech, I got an error message
saying
    the the version of
Window-Eyes is not compatible with this version of windows. So, I couldn't
load
the software. I have the 7.11 upgrade on a flashdrive but, it is worthless
unless
you have V7.0 already loaded. I looked at the gwmicro site and it states
that WE is
compatible with Windows 7. Any help appreciated. Bob Garrett
