OK, this is not a WE question, but I hope some tech guy, have an idea, what to
do about it:

I have a 16GB USB pen drive. It is formatted as FAT32, and I started out with
it all newly formatted.

1. I copy a load of some 3GB onto the drive.
2. Then copied a second folder (approx 6gb) to the flash drive.
3. Then go to the SysTray, and selecting Safe Removal of hardware.
4. Choosing my usb drive, and clicking STOP.
5. Waiting for the message that the drive is safe to remove.
6. Unplug the drive, then reinserting it.

All of this is fine. But, now comes the strange thing. All that I copied in the
first load, shows up just fine. But everything I copied on the second load, has
been totaly messed up. Filenames are randomly made up of all sorts of
characters, what was files, shows up as folders, and none of it is readable,
neither to me nor to the computer.

I even tried this with the mobile installation of WE. The installation goes
just fine. Then I make an AutoRun.inf, according to the KB articles from GW
Micro. When reinserting my USB drive, all the WE stuff is fine, but the
AutoRun.inf file, has been 'corrupted', and is now consisting of a lot of
strange characters.

I even have tried with another USB drive (4GB), and the same thing goes on.
Running Xp PRO, and with all updates. Avast, and superAntiSpyware, reports my
system to be clean.

Am I doing something wrong? Or, is this a known issue on USB flash drives. I am
copying the stuff from a NTFS formatted hard drive, but really don't see that
this should make any trouble for the USB drive.

Any good suggestion, or experience will be greatly appriciated.
