1.  From your Verizon page do Alt-d.  This puts you on the address bar.  
2. Type in www.google.com and press enter.
3.  When Google comes up, do ctrl-home to get to the top of the page and start
down-arrowing until you hear a link about making Google your homepage, and hit
enter on it.  That should do it.

Subject: finding my google search again

Hi guys again with another problem that I hope is considered legal on 
this list.  I just got changed over to Verizon and now when I go to 
internet explorer instead of getting my nice little simple google 
search, I get a big Verizon page which is hard to use.  Does anybody 
know how to get that google search that just has the box for the term 
and a go  to click on and it came back with 14  top occurrences.
