Hi. For a few years now, I've stuck with Real1 for a variety of reasons. Mainly to ply ram or .rm files but not just that.
Seems that when upgrading any version of Realplayer, the automatic defaults are every kind of media from m3u to .asx to .pls are all played in Realaudio. The trick is then only selecting what you want Realaudio to play. With such a long list of things, its hard to select the whole range and get Window-Eyes to read the entire listbox. As such, its required some sited assistence to check, or uncheck, some of the filetypes _not associated with real. As for the html window, its always done that since the days of the Realone player since it has its own web browser of sorts. Literally, from the Realplayer itself, you could surf the net and then some. Not sure when realplayer became much more then a playback mediaplayer and leaped into the realm of web-browsing but often times, that extra window would show up. In earlier versions of Realone, it was simplay a mediaplayer and that's it. Jesse If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
