I had a similar issue to this once with an older version of Window-Eyes. I
was and am the only user of my computer. With the help of a sighted person,
I discovered that I had aanother account besides the administrator account I
use. We don't know why or how it got there, but we removed it. You can
determine whether you have a fantom account without sighted assistance by
going to, I believe, User Accounts in Control Panel. Hope this helps or othe
r listers will correct. Thanks.

Subject: OT: How to get rid of sudden appearance of login screen
I just finished doing some Windows updates and now I am getting the login
screen at startup. I am the only user of my computer and have absolutely no
desire to go through this at every startup but haven't had to deal with
getting rid of this since Windows 98. This not the login screen asking for
a password, but the screen with the option to shut down computer or to
enter a particular user account, since I am the only user I get the shut
down and my account options, but I don't want even this little annoyance. I
just want Windows to start up as it was just as I have always had it with
no need to do anything. So, how do I change this. I suspect it was the .net
update, since I doubt it was the Silverlight update and those were the two
that I did before this happened.
Thanks for any help,
Chris
