Hi Bud,

You didn't say what operating system you're using. I'm using vista here and I don't remember just how xp looks, but sounds like you may want to go into control pannel and select taskbar and start menu options.

Locate the start menu tab and there should probably be two display options for the start menu. You might try the other one and see if that brings the classic start menu back.

Windows has been known to change this for reasons only known to Microsoft. <smile>

I suspect windows 7 is similar to Vista but really can't say for sure.

Hope this helps,

Don

Hi gang,

Such a simple thing but I can't do it anymore. To go to a website I used
to press the key just to the right of the alt key and r and it would say
run and I could type in the address and enter and it would go there. Now
it says open and when I press enter it says can't find file or something
like that. By the way, what's the name of that key to the right of the
alt key, and how can I go to a url now? I can do it through google but
that gets all sorts of other stuff. Is there some setting I might have
changed?
Thanks.
