Vaughan,
We're planning nothing of the sort. In fact, the same information
presented in the readme regarding non-copy protected versions has been
in every readme of the paste (or at least since we starting trying to
provide as much information as possible to cover everyone's questions,
which in the end just creates even more questions. <grin>)

Hello Aaron.
Thank you for the reply, but with respect, it does not answer my
question. Maybe my question was not clear to you.
In summary: is GW Micro planning to restrict the sale of non-copy
editions of Window-eyes solely to United States customers?
I may have been drawing a wrong conclusion from the Readme file which
is with the current beta, in that it refers only to non-copy
protection in the United States, and not other countries where
individuals purchase Window-eyes. New Zealand currently has the
non-copy protected version -- and I should know as I have purchased
Window-eyes for over 10 years.
Our Government does not care -- so maybe Gw Micro is changing the
rules regarding the sale of Window-eyes -- or maybe it is not and
again maybe the Readme file just needs to be fixed very slightly to
make it clear where non-copy protected versions can be owned if
purchased directly from GW Micro.
Thanks.
Vaughan.

There are certain places outside of the United States that don't
require copy protection, and there are certain places that do. Contact
your local government or our order department ([email protected]
<mailto:[email protected]>) if you have questions. If you're already
purchased Window-Eyes, then you already know if you're using copy
protection or not. Chances are slim that the current copy protection
laws will change significantly any time soon (although, again, your
local government officials would know best).

Hi all.
Happily running 7.2 beta 1 here.
I do have a query regarding non-copy protection however.
In the readme file, it refers to non-copy protection inside the United
States. Is there an indication that non-copy protection for us in New
Zsealand might be rwemoved - in other words - we will have to buy a copy
protected version?
I have never noticed this before, and wonder if this is a slight oversight
or whether non-copy proteciton will eventually be limited to the United
States. Another way of looking at5 this might be that if a less
knowledgeable person than myself were to install Window-eyes beta the
readme as it is currently worded might suggest that a non-copy protected
version installed outside of the United States cannot be used.
Appreciate this being clarified please.
Thanks.
Vaughan.
