Hi Kim,
If I am following you correctly, if you want to search for the same string,
just press ctrl-shift-if and enter. If you want to search backward then you
would have to issue that command and if I remember correctly, it will wrap.
You can also use the up and down arrows to cycle through other strings you
have searched for.

I think it would be a great addition if you could designate a hotkey for a
"find next" function. Now, you have to press CTRL-SHIFT-F, then enter your
search term, and then tab to the "forward find", or "reverse find". That's
all well and good for the first time, but what about the situation where
you're looking for multiple occurrences of a search string? I know, it's
only a few key strokes, but it sure would be convenient.
