My mike level is so low I don't even use one with SB. I got SB because it has always been recommended by GW Micro. With the Windows 7 64 bit, I can no longer record anything from the speakers either, such as whatever WE might be reading or streaming audio. I never had any trouble with SB live and XP. This sound card is SB Fi extreme audio.

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has seen something like this before, and might have
some input. I seem to have to adjust my microphone pretty much on a daily
basis.
I'm running a soundblaster extreme sound card, and can't figure out for the
life of me why the mic changes every day pretty much.
A few programs that i use for the mic include ventrilo, skype, and a remote
console application that i dispatch with.
I have the mic cranked all the way and people i sound bad, yet one thing
that is interesting, i can find the boost 1 day, but yet the next i can't
seem to find it.
Needless to say it's getting annoying, any thoughts?
