Hi:
I have noticed thsese problems as well.  The only one I can comment
on, however, is the word problem.  I think that when you misspell a
word in MS Word, the word is highlighted automatically and when
Window-eyes sees this, as you are moving the cursur.  When that
happens, I think Window-eyes doesn't know quite what to do, so it
beeps. This is a good way to find your spelling errors write away and
correct them.
