Subject: Re: Problem getting the correct winamp help file loaded using the
script
Hi Jeff,
OK, I think I had an issue of missreading the window. I did some testing.
It seems sometimes when I start the help file and get focus on it, the title
bar or whatever you call it reads, equalizer help, or playlist editor help or
main window help. Sometimes when I start the help file, I don't hear this
title read.
If I go to the top of the help file with ctrl-home, the file doesn't
specifically identify if you are reading the main help window, the equalizer
window or the playlist window. All those files start the same way. However if,
by route the mouse to a point above the start of the help file, I see where the
correct file is loaded.
So my misinterpretation, and that is what it is, comes from the fact that
sometimes I'm not reading the changed title bar automatically, and by not
checking with the mouse keys, I read the start of the correct help file, but
that is always the same at the beginning.
Hope this makes sense. Might you be able to put into the actual help file
the name of the type of help you are reading, right at the start?
But there is no bug per se. Thanks for checking into it.
Steve

If I press alt-e and then control-tab into that window and press insert-h I
get help ffor the Play List window. The same is true in Alt-G for the
Equalizer window. Can anyone else replicate this issue?

Subject: Problem getting the correct winamp help file loaded using the
script
I've noticed for a while that when I use any of the three ways to get the
help file loaded in winamp, I always end up with the help file that should load
for the winamp main window. If I go to the equalizer window or the playlist
editor window, and hit, for instance insert-h, I don't get the specific help
file for either the equalizer or the editing window, just the main help file.
Then there was a time this seemed to work normally, but now it's back to
being bad. Any notions? Using window eyes 7.2 beta1, xp with sp3, winamp
5.572 and the winamp script version 2.87, which is the latest.
Thanks for any suggestions. I want to be able to get to the correct help
file when needed.
