I hae had the best luck with these two scenerios.
 
The first:
 
o shutdown WE
o Have a sighted co-worker wait for the prompt to press ok then share
o let the help-desk finish and logoff
o then turn on window-eyes
 
The second is:
 
o wait for the prompt to hit ok then go sshare with WE runing.
o After help desk is done, you go into task manager and kill the remote
session.
 
Eather seems to work ok for me.  I am running WE 7.1.2 and XP service pack
3.

Hello, 
        My company uses Remote Assistant to allow our HelpDesk staff to
access our computes  for troubleshooting.  With my current HP laptop and my
previous laptop (a Dell Latitude), my computer does a full restart whenever
the HelpDesk tries to use Remote Assistant to get into my PC.  They seem
really surprised at this.  Any chance it's something with a WE interface?
I'm running WE 7.11 on a Windows XP machine.   I think I have tried turning
off Window Eyes before they attempt remote access, but I don't have a record
of this.
