Hello all,
From what I have been hearing Window-Eyes runs very well in a feature
exclusive to Windows 7 Pro and up called Windows XP Mode. It is basically a free copy of XP Pro SP3 in a virtual machine. You use a program called Windows Virtual PC to run this Windows XP Mode. The idea is to get legasy applications to run seemlessly in Windows 7, but XP Mode can run just like any other virtual machine. I have not tested this myself with the demo of Window-Eyes 7.11, but the person who did the podcast used Window-Eyes 7.2 Beta 1 and he seemed very happy with the performance of it.
What are your thoughts on this?
For now, hats off to the guys at GWMicro. The competition for now won't work with it at all unless you turn off the integration services.
