Hi Steve and all I kid you not it has refreshed or some such. I walked away and came back only to find the Window had reset back. The only thing that changed was I had an IM when I came back.
I read that, closed it out and on returning me back to the main IM window all appears to be back to normal. Mental, but thanks all for the suggestions! At least I know that setting it to oridginal class again should work in future. Odd how it took for an IM window overlay to appear and be closed for WE to see the re-classification though. Even though I'd closed WE out and restarted it a few times earlier as well. Ah well all's working as should again. Cheers, Barry. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Jacobson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, April 20, 2010 7:36 PM To: Barry Toner; [email protected] Subject: RE: Reclassing windows messed-up Barry, It does sound as though you were running your default scripts. The best thing to do would be to try to change the control back to its Original Class. You said that you tried this in another message, but it isn't clear what didn't work. If you are hearing "list Box" when you tab, bringing up the "reclass" dialog and choosing "Focus Window", should place you in a dialog with "list box" focused. Pressing HOME should get you back to the top of the list which is "Original Class." Before you do anything with the ".WE" files, let us know what happens when you try to do this.
