No, since I've never found windows to take me to the desktop when I close an application.
try the windows command key combination of windows-key plus D, which will take you to the desktop. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Ted Larson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, May 01, 2010 9:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: off topic; not getting to desktop when closing application Dear List: I am using windows XP and I must have changed something, perhaps in the start menu. Now, whenever I close out of anything, it no longer takes me to the desktop. I have to do an alt-tab to get to it. Where ever I am before doing the alt-tab, I do not know because neither the mouse nor the main keys say anything. Any ideas how to change this? Thanks.
