Hi Mike
I have 2 email clients here.
I have Windows Live Mail and Microsoft Outlook 2007, which comes with Office. Windows Live Mail is sort of like Outlook Express, in that it uses browse mode when a message is opened, using the Windows Live Mail script. It's a little quirky in that it sometimes has to close due to the calendar data being corrupt. Microsoft Outlook 2007 works okay here, but it doesn't always play the mail arrival sound even though the box is checked telling it to do so. It also when messages arrive doesn't put me at the top of the list of messages in the in-box. Using the read mail script, but sometimes the message won't read and have to reopen it. You've also got Eudora, Becky and Thunderbird, but others who are using these clients can tell you about them.
I am using Windows 7 Professional, with all updates 32 bit edition.
Hope I have helped you some.
