Check your peripherals. If you can get 64-bit drivers, go for 64-bit windows, otherwise stick with xp. I've been running 32-bit 7 for the last six months, and window-eyes crashes on it several times a week. It never crashes on my xp system. I wouldn't recommend 32-bit windows 7 to any window-eyes user, I don't think most people would have stood it as long as I have.

Hi Listers,

Thinking of moving from my current WXP Home to Windows 7 and so could
someone advise me which version of W7 32 bit to purchase? Also thinking
of upgrading the MB and CPU and so will probably qualify to purchase the
O E M version.

I want W7 to be a fresh install rather than an update of WXP.

Thanks
Neville.
