Martin,

Hs is a macro like script, a swiss army knife catch all which will do many things.

Aaron is doing his best to perfect it for us, and I think we're nearly there.

But what it does is to string we actions together, you can route the mouse to a place you couldn't normally see on the screen, I mean a graphical symbol or control, have it speak, perform any kind of we hot key like activating a window, doing a text search, string several mouse clicks together on several different screens, it's basically the best thing we have so far that allows a non-programmer to have the power of scripting, kind of bridging the gap between the nice but outdated setfiles and the true power of scripting.

It is much like snowman's hotspot clicker for jaws, or autohot key a free open source program which is wonderful in that it requires no screen reader dependancy.

So what it will do is largely up to you and your imagination.

Come see me for very low priced tutoring if you need more extensive help.

We love to help folks, and we don't charge the earth to do it.

Hi,

I can't find a detailed description of what I can do with the Hotspot script. I use the script menu script and found the hot keys but I'm looking for some detailed information regarding what the script will enable me to do. There is something of a discription on the link where I downloaded the script but I'm wondering if there is somewhere on the WindowEyes site that provides more information. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob Martin
