Hello Martin,

under XP I used fbackup, a freeware solution, to backup my important files.
http://www.fbackup.com/

If you are looking for a imaging software to make backups of your complete
file systems or partitions many people recommended image for windows on this
list. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/downloads-image-for-windows.htm

Best regards,

   Ralf

Subject: backup solutions?

Hi together,

I had to setup a notebook after some strange things happening to it...
(partitions did change their order and crashed windows)

After all I would like to make a backup of the clean new setup.

What program can you recomment that works safe and is quite accessible?

(using win xp pro)

I am thankful for any suggestions!

all the best,

martin
