Robert,

tell them to use the total validator for building their websites.
If they check all sites with total validator unlabeled images or buttons 
will be shown as errors.
www.w3c.org also gives a lot of hints on accessibility.

Sorry, I don't know much about web design.  I'm guessing it is up to the web
designer to label buttons and graphics.

I assume I am running flash.  Adobe flash, right?

I do get spoken words when navigating the site.  But do see the unlabeled
buttons.  I have asked my daughter to ask the web designers to label the
buttons.

Can someone give me the web sites for web designers to see how to make a web
site more blind friendly?
