It takes far more than 1 minute on my machine.

there use to be the option to turn off the startup scan. i have not found it yet in version 4. it doesn't bother me. i can wait the 1 minute it takes to scan the windows system files before i use the computer. you would be makeing a big mistake. eset is the only program that has stopped all attacks for the last 10 years. even microsoft uses eset for there servers. and so far hackers have not gotton in. they don't even use there own antivirus programs. mcafee, norton, average, virusscan none of them come close. all of them have let 5 to 10 percent of the test viruses through in lab tests. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Grimwood" <[email protected]>

I am finding the startup scan quite annoying. This is making me wonder if I should try Windows Security Suite. Does anyone have experience of this product? What about PCTools Spyware Doctor with virus protection?

Robert
