Hi Thanks for that, but no I'm not trying to do that. The problem occurs
before the page loads.

are you trying to issue a place marker command before the page is loaded.
if so internet explorer will stop responding. wait for the page to load
before trying to issue a place marker command.

Subject: continuing WE and IE8 problems
Hi all, I mentioned this problem with WE 7.1 and it continues with WE
7.2. When opening IE We fails to respond and dings if I cursor up and
down. Sometimes I am unable to alt tab between windows and I have to use
the control escape keys to get out of IE. The only way I've found to sort
this out is to exit WE and restart it. Its not something that happens
%100 of the time but at least a couple of times a day. It also happens
when moving from one page to another in addition to when IE is started.
Interestingly enough when I go into the WE control pannel I am more often
than not told that the explorer set file is running rather than the IE
one.
Does anyone kno what is the problem?
