The Microsoft RDP support is only available if you use virtual channel maintenance. It is not available in video support maintenance. In fact, video support maintenance isn't even installed on a Windows Vista or later computer, due to newer technology Window-Eyes and other assistive software use to intercept the display.

Hi, please try right clicking the installer and choosing run as administrator.

It's an annoying fact of life that administrators are not trusted on the new
windows platforms, but there you have it.

I recently purchased a laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate and installed WE 7.2.
I have one profile on my system which is the Administrator.

I need to enable the Microsoft RDP Video Support, but after the installation,
the Video Maintenance Support option does not appear within the WE tree of the
Start Menu. Additionally, if I attempt to run the gwvid.exe file directly I
receive an error message indicating I need Administrator privileges in order to
run the file.

WE and Windows otherwise recognize that my user profile is an administrator. I
have attempted doing a full removal and reinstallation of WE and obtain the
same results.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or does anyone have any suggestions on
how this issue can be rectified?

Thanks,

Josh
