Uh, well it may not bee such an issue if you are deafblind, But one of the first things I do is to go and turn off that deplorable dinging noise for the end of every print line.
I also like to make sure that my braille display wraps text and doesn't expand the current word. These are personal preferences because I tend to use my display more for reading books than for editing. You may also enjoy setting up hot keys. As an example, I set my sister's display up so that when she presses a combination on the display it opens up the run dialog. Because she has a read write display, she can type in something right on the display and it will open. WE braille support really does rock. I've taught it under jaws and window-eyes, and I really enjoy window-eyes much more than jaws.
