Fellow Window-eyes users, I have been using an H P Pavilion ZD8000 Laptop
computer running XP Professional and W-E 6.0 and 6.1 for the last 5 years.
Thanks to my carelessness in not unplugging the computer during an
electrical storm, I'm currently shopping for a new high end laptop. I will
be using this computer primarily for word processing, spreadsheets, internet
and e-mail, and I plan to install W-E 7.1, W-7 and Office 2010. Since I
have been out of the computer market for over 5 years, I have more than a
few questions. I am looking for opinions and recommendations regarding a 32
bit VS a 64 bit system, as well as optimal system specifications for this
type of computer. I would also appreciate hearing about any recent
experiences, good or bad, that people have had with specific laptop dealers
or manufacturers.
Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions that might help me to make
some of the right choices.
