Just wondering if anyone has experienced issues running a remote desktop between a 64-bit machine and a 32-bit machine.
I have Windows XP Professional and WE 7.2 at work and have been able to run a remote session from both my old laptop running XP Professional with WE7.2 as well as from my wife's netbook running Windows 7 Starter 32-bit with WE7.2. However, on my new laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with WE7.2 while I can connect through the Remote Desktop utility and see the desktop on the server side, the Virtual Channel is not passing the audio through as it does on the other machines. I have enabled Virtual Channel and the other settings on my new laptop appear to be identical to those on the other two systems. I did not think it should matter but is there something I need to adjust since the server is 32-bit while the client is 64-bit? If not, any suggestions?
