See if it's a particular synthesizer by switching to some other one for a while; that may help GW quite a bit if you can tell them this only happens with "eloquence" or whatever it is, and, it gives you a work around if it's true.
Next, try running without any macros, to see if some macro is causing the issue. many of us use outlook 2003 all the time, and I've never heard of this issue. you are using WE 7.2 right?
