Hello all! The only problem I have found with Window Eyes is when I shut it down with the hot key script where Window Eyes shuts down immediately without prompting. I shut down Wineyes, and bring up other screen reader and it won't come up. I must reboot PC. Otherwise, Window Eyes seems to be very stable on XP sp3 Netbook and haven't had allot of use on my Windows 'seven machine but it seems to work well when I have used it!

I have found a work around that helps me when window eyes stops talking, I.e., windows loses sound. This is a known issue with all windows operating systems, with no fix. Here's my work around the problem: my first choice is to remove the connection to my usb wireless headset, and viola window eyes starts talking using my external speakers, then I just replug the usb and my wireless is talking again. In this case, windows was the culprit for the lost of sound. If that does not work, I use a hot key to shutdown all three window eyes applications using a batch file and count to 10 and restart window eyes and again viola window eyes is up and running. In this case window eyes had crashed. When I am about to run a program that I know will prevent window eyes from talking because the program seems to take all of the c-p-u, I run "sm seesaw pro and I isolate window eyes to one of my 4 processors, and then I run the other program, and I still can work on the computer using window eyes still talking. I am using windows 7 Intel quad core q6600, with 8 gigs of ram memory Somebody made the comment that window eyes seem to crash with windows 7 more often than with other windows operating system, and I agree. I also use windows vista and windows xp with all of the service paks and window eyes seems to be more stable on these platforms.
