You can go to the systray and either right click on the eset icon or press the application key to bring up the context menu. then open the window from within that menu. Or, open it from within your program menu. Once the window is open, Move your mouse to setup and left click on that. Within the window that comes up you should see: Temporarily disable antivirus and antispyware. Left click on that and confirm when prompted. Then just close the window. Do the same thing again to turn it back on.

Subject: Temporarily disabling Nod32

Hi,

In troubleshooting an issue with Windows Update, I need to temporarily
disable Nod32. I use the old 3.x interface of Nod32. If you know how to
accomplish this via Window eyes 7.2 and wouldn't mind sharing, I would
appreciate it.

I have, and will continue looking for the answer at the Eset web site, but
if you know and can save me some time, well, I'd rather be working on my web
site than troubleshooting a PC problem! Grin.. Actually, I'd rather be
sitting down by the lake playing my guitar and wondering what Lucky would do
if a gator came up to visit!

Donald

Sincerely,

Donald E. Bowen, Jr.
