Yes I love Windows 7 too! Will only use XP in a virtual environment, never in a native one!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to tell you all how much I'm loving Windows Seven with the
loving Window-Eyes. <smile>

Now, I need to tell you why.!!!! <smile>

1. Windows Seven does not flip Windows when something new is happening.
It just let's you know that a particular task wants your attention. I
love that. In XP it flipped Windows all the time, and I hated that.

2. The UAC is not a problem, as someone told me not long ago, that
Windows Seven learns how you do things, in Windows. I believe they are
correct. I save my documents in the folders I want to save them in, and
it's letting me do that. I also save my music and audio books in the
folders I want, and it's letting me do that, also.

3. One thing I've noticed about Windows Seven, is that it doesn't let
you download or save single files into your root folder on your hard
drive. That's okay with me. I'm not having any issues with that one at
all. This way I don't have a bunch of stray txt or mp3 or other files on
my hard drive, not in folders.

4. It's fast. It updates things when it needs to. I love that.

5. I've installed several programs, and I'm not having any problems
withthem. There is only one program I couldn't install, and that was
Active Sync. That doesn't bother me at all. It installed some other
program to take it's place, and it told me so.

6. I'm loving the Compatibility mode, so if I attempt to install
something that it says isn't compatible, it let's me install it, and it
tells me it installed it successfully. That's also great. <smile>

7. I love the search function in Windows Seven. It's great. <smile>

8. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, except that when I
started using it, my sound card would lock up. This happened at least
once a day. lol. It hasn't happened now for several days. lol. My
drivers are updated.

Oh, and the loving Window-Eyes hasn't locked up for a while, either.

I'm extremely happy.

Now, there's only one little minor problem.

Some times in the loving Eudora when I'm typing, and Window-Eyes doesn't
read things correctly, and I'm not sure why. I end up having to delete
letters and words, and re-type them.

I'm not using the Microsoft Viewer, either.
I don't like it at all.

This isn't a Windows Seven issue, as I've had this problem in XP as well
with the Loving Eudora.

I really don't want to change email programs, as I've been using the
loving Eudora since I first got into Windows, and I love it.

Okay, GW Micro Staff, keep up the excellent work with the loving
Window-Eyes.

You all keep being loving and helping others. <smile>

You are all loving!!!!!!!! <smile>

Blessings,

Pat Ferguson
