The only time I've heard of Windows PE is when you boot from a Windows 2000 or later installation disk. It's a mini version of Windows, with very few drivers loaded, sound not being one of them.

Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know if we can use Windows PE? I was looking at the list of
drivers and didn't see any sound drivers. I may have to use it at work so I
am getting a head start on this.

Thx -Steve
