Okay, I've been using Thunderbird quite successfully with Window-Eyes
since Thunderbird 2. However, yesterday I upgraded to 3.1 and I'm now
experiencing the issue that has been reported here, which is that browse
mode turns off and won't come back on when you focus on a link. If I
open the message and press control, shift, r to read to end, the message
reads fine. If I use x to read each text line I'm fine, but as soon as
Window-Eyes gains focus on a link, browse mode turns off and when I
press control, shift, a to turn it back on, it says browse mode not
available. I'm not sure what changed between 3.04 and 3.1, but something
has. I'm using Window-Eyes 7.2 with no scripts, on a Windows XP SP3
machine. I have Thunderbird set to open messages in a new window. I
tried going into Thunerbird's view menu and changing the message body to
plain text instead of original html, but some links still appear, and
browse mode still turns off when focusing on those links. Other than
this issue, things seem to be working great.
