i got the graphics to talk by re defineing them.
the wlm download page is confuseing to me.
theres the link that says download live issentials instead.
and the link to download just the live mail program which is whaat i want.
this one still downloades the complete package and you have to uncheck the
programs you don't want to install but i have to use the mouse and to find
the checkboxes which are not defined. when i installed live mail on vista it
did not say it was the beta.
the one that said install live essentials instead link i installed this on
win 7 and this one is the beta. it has ribbon menus that i do not know how
to get to except with the mouse.
i don't know about the cc and bcc fields on the beta. i don't have any
stored emails so these fields don't speak any email fragments like the other
version does.

Net Bat, The Edit boxes in WLM have had that problem and just try to pick
a contact from your address book? Hopefully that has gotten better. Does
the Read, Attachments and Unread graphics reading for you without the

has anyone tried the windows live mail beta yet?
the list of mail boxes are working better, in that it does not say
selected tre view like it use to with the wlm script.
i don't remember this problem though before.
when i am in the to,cc or bcc fields w e reads fragments of my contact
list even though nothing is there in these fields.
i removed the auto complet script. so its not that. when i type in a
email address in the to field, tab out and back again there email address
i typed in will not be there most of the time. something other then what
i typed in there is showing. i have to backspace to delete what ever is
there and try several times before the actual address i type will show.
other then this live mail is working very well. if the final release is
corrected i will be ready to go all the way to windows 7. i have it
installed on a removible drive but because there is no email client i
have not been useing it.
thunderbird is not a viable choice either as far as i am concerned.
it works but is so rinky dink with its programming its a joke.
