Actually, with companies like MS, it goes even further than that.
They are already working on at least the concept for what Windows 9
will be. They are already preparing for the eventual development of
a 128 bit OS. How long will it be before this comes to fruition? A
very long time, but if they weren't already working on it, they
would be way behind the curve when the time comes.

shelf. Everyone who writes software does this. Part of this is to fix what
you got out there now. Part of it is to make sure that you can keep up with
your competitors. So gw micro is working on window-eyes 8 even though every
bug is not fixed with window-eyes 7. If they didn't no new software would
ever come out.

They are already talking about Windows 8 and they haven't even fixed Windows
7 completely yet?
