Hi, are you using Imap for any of your accounts? If so then this is by
design. It allows you to manage mail on the server, hence mail being
able to download to multiple computers.

Hi, I have an OE account using my [email protected] email address on my desktop,
and I also have my netbook's OE with the same account . I sometimes check my
emails on the desktop, other times, when my mother in law is working at her in
home job, , I check my email from my attached apartment using my netbook. When
I do this, it seems that after I download my email to the netbook, if I check
my emails on the desktop at a later date/time, the resulting email download to
the desktop is the same as the netbook's emails. I have the advanced tab under
accounts on both systems checked or unchecked, not to have copies of the emails
left on the server.
What could be causing my emails to be downloaded on both systems?
Thanks much in advance.
