You dont "update" to beta. Betas are for weeding out bugs etc before final release and are only for people who understand the risks. Therefore, its not "safe" to update to a beta version.

If you are a risk taker, then by all means do it. Otherwise, wait for final release.

Is it safe to update to the Live Messenger beta? I'd think based on things I'vwe red that it's not accessible yet with w e. The u i sounds to be so dramaticly different I highly doubt it's usable at this point.
