Has anyone else generally had the experience of IE 8 being randomly
unstable but on frequent occasions using it under windows 7 64 bit and
using WindowEyes. It does the internet explorer has stopped responding
thing frequently which is often after clicking on a link to open it in
a new tab or a new window or after closing such tab or window and
having it return to the originally opened tab or window. It also
happens a lot that it is like the virtual buffer looses the ability in
the current internet explorer session looses its ability to hook into
IE because it stops working and turning it off and then back on says
browse mode not available. You have to exit the browser and reload it.
Is IE 8 just generally buggy? Are there any particular tool bars or
extensions that one can disable that make a big difference in this
stability? I have disabled most of them. There is one called research
that is mysterious to me what it does but it says that it is used when
you look at the more info and I don't know if I should disable it. Is
its use important or is it doing something totally unnecessary? I
noticed internet explorer seems to run without allowing any add-ons
and I have seen that notation on it somewhere. It seems that the 64
bit version will not allow flash content to play on a page and is
there any way to have it allow that? Is the 64 bit a lot more stable
or is it not really much different?

Thanks,
Jim
