Hello. Wow! It sounds like the pot is stirred up and boiling over on this thread, smile. I cannot comment on whether or not Fire Fox is refreshing more as I do not use it. I think I tried it in the days of version 3.5 and didn't like it for whatever reason.
As for browse mode being rewritten, we have to allow GW Micro time to get it right. Look how long we have had to wait for Microsoft Word to be made more usable by Window-eyes users. Sure, many of us want it all and we want it now. Some of you don't know this, but do you know how many times Mike Lawler has told me that and I am quoting now, you need to relax." Over the phone? Plenty of times, believe me. There was a period during the Window-eyes 7.1 cycle that I was receiving multiple tool kit errors which were causing me to pull what little hair I have to be pulled out, smile. Errors have been reduced to an occasional occurrence. I guess my relaxation paid off, smile. Yes, it has been two years indeed since GW Micro mentioned that they were rewriting browse mode, however, it might be two more years, who knows. I guess my point is this. We need to give the folks at GW Micro to get things working better with Window-eyes. Look how long it has taken since version 1.0 to get the kinks out. I'll hazard a guess that those who used Window-eyes 1.0 are amazed by how far along Window-eyes has come. Keep up the good work, GW Micro. Find the problems that folks point out, and if they can be duplicated, correct them as you have always done. Also, work on things that need to be worked on. At least this company cares about its customers. The competition is mentioned by people off the cuff, but when I mention Window-eyes, some people have given me the deer in the headlights reaction, as in huh? What's that. Mike M.
