The problem appears to be in the windoweyes browse mode, and the only way I've found to deal with it is to force the message into plain ascii format.
It may also work out if you use word as the outlook editor, I admit I've never tried that. To force the message into plain ascii there's a setting down in the options somewhere which will do it to all incoming email messages, and you also need to set your default format for composing messages to plain text as well. Or, the other way is to do it on an individual message basis. if you're reading one, and you want it to go to plain text, use the control-shift-o outlook command. if you're replying in html format, you can switch to text by pressing alt-t for the tools menu, and then o for the format plain text choice (you will be prompted if that's what you want to do because you will lose format information). hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Don H [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, July 28, 2010 4:35 PM To: gwmicro Subject: WE and outlook 2003 I am running Outlook 2003 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. If I get a Email that is HTML and try to reply to it WE 7.2 becomes very sluggish if it speaks at all. Is there a solution to this problem? If so could you please pass it along.
